Wallpaper Installation in Columbus OH

How We Handle Wallpaper Projects in Columbus

Columbus properties vary by era – original plaster in Victorian-era homes, postwar drywall in ranch builds, and smooth new finishes in expanding metro developments – and wallpaper hangers in Columbus treat wall assessment as the first step on every job. Wallpaper companies in Columbus working across residential and commercial scopes apply the same process regardless of project size, and the city’s commercial market – hotel and hospitality interiors, restaurant and retail spaces, and corporate office environments across the Downtown Arena District and the Short North corridor – adds its own scheduling and surface requirements.

Residential and Commercial Experience

Every wallpaper installer in Columbus starts with a wall surface assessment – building era, prior coatings, and surface porosity checked before materials are confirmed. That applies equally to a single-room job in a historic home and a multi-room commercial scope in a Downtown office building.

For commercial projects, pattern layout across rooms and corridors is planned before installation begins, not adjusted during. Coordination with property managers covers access, scheduling, and room sequencing so work moves through the space without disruption. Fill out the form to get a full scope for your project.

Clean Installation and Proper Wall Preparation

Walls are inspected for loose paint, moisture damage, old repairs, and surface inconsistencies before any installation or removal begins. Columbus’s cold winters and freeze-thaw cycles create conditions where moisture can affect older plaster walls – a primer coat is standard on any surface that’s been patched or repaired before new wallcovering is applied.
